Wardens can have an optimal up to 115km. MJD to 100km, drop Wardens, most rats will be dead before they reach you. Just need enough tank to survive the rats that agro when you first land.

If you have isk and SP, just fly whatever trivializes the missions. Like most of the responses. If you don't have the isk and SP, there are a few that can be difficult. Anything with EWAR.

1) When someone you don't know enters your mission area scoop the MTU. 2) Do Info on them and then add their corp and alliance as a contact....red. More often than not 3-4 other people in local will get the red flag as well.
